News and Updates
On and off season, much is happening with the TWEC and Friends of 20 Arlington Street! Here you can find all the major news and updates for our organizations and affiliates. For smaller updates and events, make sure to ‘like’ us on Facebook!
The biggest update currently is the building restorations we are about to undergo. With the success of the window restorations behind us, we now look to preserving and promoting the incredible building in which we are housed, Arlington Street Church. We are not alone in this undertaking and many wonderful organizations are working with us to realize this revitalization.
Lighting the Windows
Thanks to a generous grant from the George P. Henderson Foundation, we are installing night lighting for our beautiful Tiffany window collection. Soon those walking down Boylston Street will be able to admire their beauty after dark. Keep a lookout in late February for their debut!
Save America’s Treasures invests in us!
We are proud to be one of only nine projects chosen by the National Parks Service to be awarded a $500,000 restoration grant under the Save America’s Treasures program. This grant, along with a few others, will be used towards the repair and restoration of our front portico entrance on 20 Arlington Street.
